The Final of the first edition of Barauni Premier League was played on 09.02.2023 between Maintenance Warriors and Operation Wizards. Maintenance Warriors won the toss and decided to bat. Batting first they were at 72/1 at one moment. Later Abhimanyu of Operation Wizards led the comeback by picking up 7 wickets for just 11 runs. Eventually, the Warriors bundled out 95 runs in 12.3 overs.

In reply Wizards were cruising to the target, scoring 60/0 in 6 overs. The warriors tried to come back by picking late wickets but eventually, Operation Wizards achieved the target in 12.3 overs with 4 wickets remaining.

The event witnessed power-packed performances by the employees and the family members. With the tournament coming to an end, HOP Baruani congratulated all the winners, NTPC Barauni's Sports Council team, and all the associates who with their efforts made the league successful.  

Later the following employees were rewarded with the titles:

Best Bowler of the Tournament- Abhimanyu
Best batsman - Dharmbir Sir
Allrounder - Vijay Verma
Player of the Tournament - Neeraj Pathak
Abhimanyu was adjudged "Player of the match".
